Battery testing

  • Battery characterization and testing: evaluation and development of algorithmic models of charging and aging, validation, behavioral testing of second-life batteries.
    • Test at different temperatures.
    • Test at cell, module and pack level (up to 1000V).
    • Test BMS using HiL.
  • Batteries (LiIon, NiMH, NiCd, Pb, Flux, etc.) and photovoltaic panels emulation.
  • Verification of communications with CAN-like protocols: Raw-CAN, CANOpen, CAN FD, LIN, can.dbc.
  • Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) capabilities:
    • Real-time simulation: Run control and hardware simulations in real time.
    • Hardware-in-the-loop simulation: Test an external control platform with an emulated EUT that runs in real-time.
    • Power Hardware-in-the-loop simulation: Test an external control platform by feeding real-time EUT emulation into an electronic power load or supply.
